Your activities will mainly focus on providing legal advice and support to the company and its subsidiaries in all legal matters, in particular in corporate-, commercial-, trade- and contract law.
In addition, you will be in charge of setting up and organizing a legal department as well as cross-divisional, company-relevant strategic issues such as contract management, corporate law orientation and compliance aspects.
The following tasks and responsibilities are the main focus of the position:
You will work with experienced (sub-)project managers, purchasing, human resources and management with different activity focuses:
As a staff unit, you are the central contact person in all contract matters and ensure that contracts or contract adjustments are reviewed and concluded in a timely manner.
You act in an advisory capacity to the CEO and the PM and are at the same time directly negotiating with lawyers and partners in purchasing / sales on the customer and supplier side.
Together with the technical teams, you draft the contract texts and translate the “language of the technicians” into contract texts and ensure that the contracts comply with applicable legal, financial and risk requirements.
Furthermore, you will deal with the development and implementation of rules and regulations regarding contract management and administration in line with the general company rules.
You are responsible for the ongoing development of standard contracts, model documents and general terms and conditions of purchase.
You coordinate the use of and cooperation with external law firms and lawyers.
You will work closely with our project management team, in particular to ensure order processing in the area of contractual implementation – such as claim management.
Company-wide training to increase contractual understanding and improve internal contract implementation rounds off your package of tasks.
