Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)

in the field of thermal plants / power plant technology / plant construction

Concord Blue Engineering GmbH is a growing, innovative and internationally active company that plans, builds and operates thermal conversion plants. This process uses biomasses as well as waste and residual materials to produce high-quality products such as electricity, hydrogen or e-fuels, respectively.

Due to our growth, we are now looking for a quality assurance engineer (m/f/d) for the Herten/Düsseldorf location.

Your field of activity and your tasks:

Your main areas of activity include the project-related planning, delivery, assembly and commissioning of new plants and replanning of existing plants (containers / reactors, mechanical engineering / apparatus, steel construction, pipelines, EI&C, etc.).

You will work with a team of young and experienced colleagues with different areas of focus:

  • You carry out process and product quality assurance, both internally and externally.

  • You take over the creation of the quality inspection plans, as well as the definition, assurance and control of the quality requirements, instructions and processes.

  • You determine the test and acceptance criteria for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, steel construction and pipeline construction.

  • You support internal and external audits and product approvals.

  • You create and evaluate the quality assurance agreements.

  • You take over the content and scheduling of the inspections of the supplier components in cooperation with project management and purchasing.

  • You will support supplier development programs and implement preventive improvement measures.

  • You carry out analyzes and document them with regard to the main areas of error and quality defects.

  • You carry out the QS documentation of the entire system and maintain and archive it.

Qualifikation

Your profil:

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, e.g. Mechanical engineering, process engineering, plant engineering or a comparable degree.

  • Training or further education in the field of QM/QA, welding technology, corrosion protection, NDT tests are advantageous.

  • Professional experience in quality control with regard to plant construction is a prerequisite.

  • Construction site experience is desirable.

  • Experience in international projects and safe handling of international suppliers are desirable.

  • Confident mastery of MS Office programs.

  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English is desirable.

  • High motivation, decision-making ability and reliability.

  • You are a team player and bring a high level of commitment, resilience, flexibility and excellent communication skills.
