Process engineer (m/f/d)

in the field of thermal plants / power plant technology / plant construction

Concord Blue Engineering GmbH is a growing, innovative and internationally active company that plans, builds and operates thermal conversion plants. In this process, biomasses as well as waste and residual materials are used to produce high-quality products, such as electricity, hydrogen or e-fuels, respectively.

Process engineers (m/f/d) are wanted for the Herten site with immediate effect.

Your field of activity and your tasks:

The main activities include project-related planning, delivery, assembly and commissioning of new plants and replanning of existing plants.

You will be working with a team of young and experienced colleagues with different activity focuses:

  • You create and check plant balances, process simulations as well as process flow diagrams and P&I flow diagrams.
  • You create concepts, technical specifications, data sheets and documentation for the areas of process engineering and machine technology / apparatus of the various operating units and take over the maintenance and archiving of inventory documents and interim planning status.
  • You carry out the technical processing of the various subcontractors throughout the entire project duration, taking into account internal and external standards.
  • You support the project management in discussing and presenting the plant concept to authorities, inspectors and experts.
  • You will be involved in the preparation of the installation planning and control concept as well as in the technical descriptions and regular optimizations.
  • You close the internal interfaces with the other departments such as mechanical engineering, steel construction, piping construction, E/MSR.

Qualifikation

Your profil:
  • Successfully completed studies in process engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering or comparable fields of study.
  • Several years of experience (at least 3 years) in the processing/handling of plant engineering or power plant projects.
  • Expertise in thermal conversion technologies (combustion, gasification, pyrolysis), hydrogen technologies (generation, storage, transport) and gas purification is an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Confident handling of common EDP programs (MS-Office).
  • High motivation, decision-making ability and reliability.
  • You are a team player and bring a high level of commitment, resilience, flexibility and very good communication skills.
