Concord Blue Engineering GmbH is a growing, innovative and internationally active company that plans, builds and operates thermal conversion plants. This process uses biomasses as well as waste and residual materials to produce high-quality products such as electricity, hydrogen or e-fuels, respectively.

We are looking for a Project Manager in the field of Plant Construction (m/f/d) for the Herten site with immediate effect.

Your field of activity and your tasks:

Your main activities include the project-related management of the planning and execution of new plants as well as the re-planning of existing plants (plant construction projects).

You will be working with a team of young and experienced colleagues with different activity focuses:

  • You manage the execution of national and international projects.
  • You coordinate and monitor project development during the entire project life cycle (basic & detail engineering, cost control, support of commercial processing, delivery, assembly, commissioning as well as claim management), taking into account internal and external standards, specifications and processes.
  • You will conduct negotiations and coordination with suppliers, partners and customers.
  • You lead the project controlling.
  • You close the internal interfaces and lead the team assigned to the project from the implementing departments such as process engineering, construction, EMSR and the commercial department.
  • Project monitoring and reporting regarding costs, deadlines and quality to the head of project management and the company management.
  • You are responsible for the internal and external implementation of the claim and change order management.
  • You take care of the preparation of project schedules in close coordination with the internal departments, suppliers and partners.
  • You are responsible for the communication and additions to the specification after negotiations and meetings with the customer.
  • Responsibility for results and support in final discussions.
  • You create orders, requirement notifications and documentation.

Qualification

Your profile:
  • Successfully completed a degree in engineering, such as mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, plant engineering or a comparable degree.
  • Professional experience in the management of international plant construction projects.
  • Experience in international projects and confident dealing with international suppliers and customers are desirable.
  • Broad knowledge of project management methods, organizational processes and the common MS Office programs and PM tools.
  • A good command of written and spoken English is desirable.
  • High motivation, decision-making ability and reliability.
  • You are a team player and bring a high degree of assertiveness, organizational strength, commitment, resilience, flexibility and very good communication skills.
